ARGH!!!!

Capt. Ben and his first mate Diddy!! This was from a fundraiser for preston's pre-school, yes he starts school in the fall (crazy!!). Preston later used the sword, pictured, to beat his Papa in true pirate fashion. Much to his confussion this was not acceptable as he was not a "real" pirate. Needless to say the teachers at St. Columbus are going to have there hands full with this little swashbuckler!!!

Little Prodigy!

Jen and I our so proud to announce Ben's graduation from Harvard!!! Next step Med school and my early retirement!!! Ok so it was just kindergarden graduation but his valedictorian speech was just so moving. It's hard to believe that the school year is over and that next year he'll be in first grade. We are so proud of his progress and all the hard work he put in this year, GREAT JOB BENJI!!
love,
Mom and Dad

Preston's B-day

Fear not the Avian flu has not arrived, I hope, it's just Preston prepared to take on the Hazards of being three!!! This was by far the must have item for his birthday, thanks Aunt Shelly!! Now he faces a much bigger challenge...survive the summer months without Jen, well I'll just let you be creative. :)

All in all his birthday was a huge success thanks in large part to the services of the "jolly jump man," as Preston referred to him.

Little Lucy

Ok so she was born about three months ago but better late than never. Our little angel was born March 27th at 1:51 p.m. She weighed in at a respectable 7.3 lbs, both the boys pushed the scales near and over 8 lbs, but LEW (her initials) was the most petite of the lot. She has changed so much in such a short time I could spend endless hours typing away, but I'll let your imagination fill in the blanks. It is without question a completely different experience having a daughter. Now don't get me wrong I love my boy's and would not trade the Father son time for anything, but knowing that one day I will have to "give her away," to another man, fingers crossed, just boggles my mind. Not to mention changing the diaper of a little person without boy parts. Preston's quandary of the moment is where Lucy's penis went. I'm convinced he thinks she has two butts, but I'm willing to let him live in confusion for the moment.

LEW is an amazing little girl who warms my heart with every coo and wry smile.

Much more to follow, hopefully within the week. (Andrew stop laughing, I'm making a conscious effort to do better!!)

Observe this!

Little man overheating at the Griffith Observatory!
(He puked later that afternoon at Bucca De Beppo's in T.O., don't sit in the the booth nearest the bar!!)
Side note, the observatory on a 100 degree August afternoon isn't a whole lot of fun.
